How F1 prediction leagues work
A league is a separate scoreboard for the picks you already make each race weekend. Your Top 5 and Head-to-Head picks are scored once and count in every league you belong to.

- Create a league, share the link, and only people with it can join. Ideal for a group of friends, a workplace, or a Discord server.
- Public leagues
- Browse open leagues and join any of them to play against people outside your circle for the rest of the season.
- League standings
- Every league has its own leaderboard and activity feed.

- Leagues run across the whole season, so a bad weekend costs you places rather than the title. Join at any point in the year.
Why play in a league rather than the global standings
The global leaderboard ranks everybody who plays, which makes it a fair measure and a poor rivalry. Most people care far more about beating four colleagues than about their place on a global table, and a league is what turns the same picks into that smaller contest. You do not pick twice or play differently: your Top 5 and Head-to-Head predictions are scored once per session, then counted towards every league you belong to at the same time.
Which kind you want depends on who you are trying to beat. An invite-only league is the better format for people you already know, because a scoreboard of six friends stays legible and every position on it means something. A public league is the better format if you have nobody to invite, since a private league with two members in it is not a contest. Nothing stops you being in both.
How a league behaves across a season
Leagues run for the whole season rather than resetting each weekend, and that changes how they feel to play. A bad Sunday costs you places instead of the title, so the game rewards turning up for twenty-odd weekends more than it rewards one inspired guess. It also means the standings tend to settle: the gap at the top usually reflects consistency rather than a single result.
You can join at any point in the year. A league ranks its members on their season totals, so the points you scored before joining come with you. Each league also carries its own activity feed, so you can see how the people in it did on a given weekend without reading past everyone else's results.
Playing the game in full is free. An optional Season Pass raises how many leagues you can create and join, and that limit is the only thing it changes. If you have not made a set of picks yet, how to play covers scoring and session deadlines first.
